James Annesley

James Annesley has worked in various companies and positions throughout their career. At REGnosys, they currently hold the role of Senior Engineer since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at OpenCredo from October 2018 to June 2020. From July 2017 to September 2018, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Logical Glue.

Their extensive experience includes working at NCR Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2013 to July 2017. Here, they were involved in creating an anti-fraud product and worked in an agile team, primarily focusing on Java server and client work.

Before that, James was a Lead User Interface Developer at Infoshare Ltd. from September 2009 to June 2013. In this role, they developed the user interface for a service-oriented data quality application, utilizing Google Web Toolkit (GWT) and supporting complex user interactions.

Additionally, they worked as a Researcher at Kingston University from 2007 to 2009, where they developed question editors in Java, specifically working with the IMS Question and Test Interoperability specification (QTI). James also worked as a Research Student at Overview Ltd. from 2004 to 2007.

James started their career as a Researcher at Imperial College London from 2001 to 2002, focusing on improving software for a time-correlated single photon counting apparatus and building custom microscope focus control hardware. Lastly, they worked as a Placement Student at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory from 2000 to 2001.

James Annesley began their education in 1998 at Kingston University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2002. Afterward, they pursued further studies at Kingston University, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, they attended the Chartered Management Institute, earning a Level 5 degree in Leadership and Management, completing their education in 2011.
