Nick Downer

Nick Downer has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Nick began their career in 2013 as an Assistant Photographer at Gray's Auctioneers. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern with the Cleveland Foundation at St. Clair-Superior Development Corporation.

In 2015, Nick became a Student at Cleveland State University and eventually transitioned into a Graduate Assistant role from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, they joined St. Clair Superior Development Corporation as an Americorps VISTA in the Housing department. Nick'sresponsibilities included designing a system to track foreclosures and tax delinquent properties, advocating for residents, and working on various neighborhood development projects.

From 2017 to 2018, Nick worked as an Ohio Project Manager at Loveland Technologies. Nick collaborated with groups across Ohio and the nation to implement Loveland software, conduct surveys, and analyze parcel-level data. Nick also engaged in grant management, responding to RFPs, and maintaining client relationships.

Nick then joined Regrid in 2018 as the Interim General Manager. In this role, they assumed various tasks such as managing contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, tracking metrics, and shaping the product strategy. Nick retained their existing roles in project management and data analysis.

In 2019, Nick took on the position of Chief of Data Strategy & Special Projects at Regrid. Nick focused on data-driven strategies and managed special projects until 2022.

In 2020, they transitioned into the role of VP of Software at Regrid. As the product manager for Regrid's mapping products on both web and app platforms, they oversaw the Support team and used user feedback to inform future product decisions.

Nick Downer attended Cleveland State University from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies/Affairs. In addition, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from 2015 to 2017 at the same institution.
