Eric J. Smith

Eric J. Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental sustainability and finance. Currently, Eric serves as the Founder and CEO of Edacious, while also holding positions as a consultant and Director for the Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, where Eric focuses on neglected climate opportunities. Additionally, Eric functions as a Board Observer for Regrow Ag and has served as a Director for multiple organizations, including AgriProve, Propagate, and Steward. Previous roles include Venture Fellow at SJF Ventures and Climate Solutions Associate at BlackRock. Eric's academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, a Master's in Forest Resource Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Vermont.
