David Waltermire

David Waltermire is a technology leader with over 29 years of experience in software engineering and strategic leadership, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at the CVE Foundation. In this role, they lead technology strategy and engagement surrounding CVE, a key vulnerability identification standard used globally in cybersecurity. Previously, David held the position of Associate Director for Experience at GSA's FedRAMP program, where they focused on IT modernization and automation to enhance stakeholder experience. As a principal product engineer at RegScale, they are now responsible for integrating compliance-as-code into DevSecOps processes. David has also made significant contributions as a board member of the CVE Foundation and co-chaired IETF working groups, demonstrating a commitment to advancing cybersecurity standards.
