Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is a seasoned Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and systems engineering fields. Currently, at Regulus Group since June 2016, Stephen supports the Mode S Sustainment 3 Program by defining requirements for a new Mode S secondary surveillance system and collaborating with FAA personnel. Previously, at Harris Corporation from August 2012 to June 2016, Stephen focused on Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) systems, including integration and testing for the Aireon space-based ADS-B system. Early career roles include a temporary administrative assignment at APTA, laboratory and office assistance at West Chester University, and an internship with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Aerospace Team. Stephen holds a Master’s and a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering from George Mason University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from West Chester University.
