Michael Birchmeier

Michael Birchmeier, CPA, is a Public Sector Solutions Principal at Rehmann, where they provide financial management consulting to local governments across Michigan. With extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing, they previously served as Finance Director for Midland County and Director of Grants Administration for the Mott Foundation. Birchmeier has also held roles as an Audit In-charge at Plante & Moran and Accounting & Budget Manager for the City of East Lansing. Educated at Michigan State University, they hold a Master of Science in Accounting - Taxation and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.
