Sid Sharma

SID SHARMA has a wealth of experience in the recruitment and talent management industry. SID began their career in 2008 as a Recruitment Advisor with TELUS, a leading national telecommunications company in Canada. In 2012, they joined Manpower, the 2nd largest staffing firm in the world, as a Senior Recruitment Consultant. In 2014, they moved to Wajax as a Team Lead for Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. In 2017, they became Manager of Global Recruitment at ATCO Group, a company with over $20 billion in assets. In 2018, they took on the role of Chapter Lead at Hyperledger. In 2019, they were Director of Western Canada at the Founder Institute and Co-Founder of REHUMAN, a blockchain identity platform. In 2021, they became Head of Identity Access Management and Lead of Western Canada at the Government Blockchain Association, as well as joining the Web3 Committee at the Canadian Blockchain Consortium.

SID SHARMA has an extensive educational background, having completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Lakehead University, a Diploma in Financial Services from Ashton College, a Project Planning and Management program from the University of Virginia, an Advance Certificate in Strategic HR Leadership from Cornell University, and a Saïd Business School Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme from the University of Oxford. SID also holds two additional certifications, a Blockchain for Business Certificate from IBM and a PMP - Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
