David Mitchell

David Mitchell has a strong background in the commercial real estate industry, with experience in various roles. David is currently working as a Senior Director of Product Strategy at Moody's Analytics CRE since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Alliant Credit Union from August 2017 to May 2021, where they held the position of Senior Manager of Portfolio Risk and Operations. In this role, they led teams specializing in loans secured by commercial real estate and was involved in business model design and project execution.

Before joining Alliant Credit Union, David worked as a Vice President at Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA from May 2015 to March 2017. During this time, they sourced commercial real estate investments, evaluated investment opportunities, and prepared investment summaries for firm principals, lenders, and equity investors.

Prior to that, they worked at Fairview Real Estate Solutions- QuietStream Financial as an Associate from March 2014 to May 2015. In this role, they performed loan underwriting, due diligence, and other advisory services for lenders, investors, and funds in commercial mortgage debt.

David also managed data migration, software integration, and provided training to the client's Asset Disposition Team.

David Mitchell completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Finance, General at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, David Mitchell obtained the Leap Academy: Product Owner Accelerator certification from McKinsey & Company in May 2022.
