Cameron Arterton

Cameron Arterton currently serves as Deputy EVP of Policy and Public Affairs at Nareit, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Cameron was Vice President at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, overseeing areas such as capital formation and emerging companies from October 2017 to October 2024. Cameron has significant experience in tax policy advocacy, having worked as Of Counsel at Steptoe & Johnson LLP and as Deputy Tax Legislative Counsel at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Early career roles included Ways and Means Counsel for Congressman Lloyd Doggett and various positions in taxation at Fried Frank and the United States District Court, after earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
