Reksabumi Foundation is a community-rooted, environmentally driven non-profit based in Sungai Pisang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Founded in 2024, our mission is to protect fragile ecosystems, empower local communities, and build resilience through practical, nature-based solutions.

We work at the intersection of environmental conservation and social equity — safeguarding coastal and forest habitats while supporting vulnerable groups through sustainable livelihoods, disaster preparedness, and inclusive development.

What We Do:
🌿 Forest & Wildlife Protection
🌊 Marine & Coral Ecosystem Conservation
🐢 Seagrass & Turtle Habitat Safeguarding
♻️ Waste Cleanup & Reduction
🌱 Native Tree & Mangrove Restoration
👩‍🌾 Sustainable Livelihoods & Community Empowerment
🌍 Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Adaptation

Our Early Actions Include:
🪸 Protecting endangered coral reefs through signage and outreach
🐵 Securing forest-edge land to protect siamang and leaf monkey habitat
🧹 Removing over 1 ton of waste through regular cleanups
🧪 Introducing waste separation within our own operations
🌾 Planting native fruit trees to support local wildlife
🌱 Establishing a pilot mangrove nursery using locally collected propagules

Our long-term vision is to conserve at least 100 hectares of forest and marine ecosystems, creating a protected corridor that supports biodiversity, climate resilience, and community well-being.

Let’s connect, collaborate, and restore nature — one action at a time.
