Gary Lees is currently the Head of Regional Development and Relations at RELA, where they facilitate connections between rural landowners and developers through an innovative online marketplace aimed at supporting Australia’s transition to net zero. Prior to this, Gary held various leadership positions at Arrow Energy from 2012 to 2014, including Access Team Leader and Land Access Manager. They also worked as the Irrigation and Property Manager at B&J Longworth from 2000 to 2010 and served as a Land Access Consultant for Unidel Group from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, from 2018 to 2024, Gary provided private consulting services as a landholder consultant in the renewables sector. They earned a Bachelor of Rural Science (Hons) from the University of New England (AU) between 1990 and 1993.
