Dan Olteanu

Dan Olteanu has a diverse work experience in the field of computer science. Dan is currently working as a Professor at the University of Zurich since May 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Computer Scientist at RelationalAI from September 2017 onwards.

Dan Olteanu completed their Baccalaureate degree in the math-physics profile at Colegiul "Ienachita Vacarescu" din Tirgoviste from 1991 to 1995. Dan then pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 1995 to 2000, earning a Dipl.Ing. (Romanian: Inginer Diplomat). In 2000, they were an intern student at INRIA-Rocquencourt, specializing in Computer Science. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Computer Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they studied from 2000 to 2005.
