Nick Robinson

Nick Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nick started their career as a Data Scientist at Faculty, where they built machine learning models for clients. In 2017, they joined The University of Edinburgh as a Postgraduate, focusing on artificial intelligence and researching reinforcement learning in robotics. Following their postgraduate studies, Nick worked as a Research Software Engineer at Invenia Labs. Here, they were involved in building tools for researchers and developing novel software for the production system. Currently, Nick is working as a Julia Ecosystem Engineer at RelationalAI, where they are a software engineer focused on improving the capabilities of the Julia programming language.

Nick Robinson obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge in the years 2011 to 2015. Nick then pursued a Master of Science - MS in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Edinburgh from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Robinson has acquired additional certifications including A2 Level Icelandic from the University Centre of the Westfjords, Iceland, as well as the Entry Level Professional Referee Award and Level 1 Professional Coaching Award from the Rugby Football Union.
