Austin Sheff

Austin Sheff currently serves as the Director of Factory Test at Relativity Space, where responsibilities include creating the Factory Test Team to improve access to testing resources across the company. Prior to this role, Austin held positions including Senior Manager and Structural Test Manager at Relativity Space, leading initiatives in structural testing for 3D printed rockets and focusing on team culture and efficiency. Previously, at Virgin Orbit, Austin managed the test engineering group and served as the technical lead for the LauncherOne structures test program, significantly expanding the test operations team. Early career experiences include engineering roles at BP and academic support at The Ohio State University, where Austin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Personal projects include identifying needs for electronic procedures in hazardous operations.
