Branden Smith

Branden Smith is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in quality assurance and composites fabrication. Currently serving as a Staff Build Quality Engineer at Relativity Space since August 2025, Branden has previously held positions such as Quality Assurance Manager at MTCcorp and Senior Technical Account Manager at Velo3D. Branden's career also includes significant roles at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence as Application Engineering Manager and SpaceX as Quality Assurance Manager. Early experience includes positions at Northrop Grumman Australia, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, and Scaled Composites, where skills in composites fabrication and management were honed.
