Brendan Murphy

Brendan Murphy is a Factory Test Engineer at Relativity Space since August 2022, building on a solid foundation of engineering experience. Previously, Brendan served as the Chief Engineer and Lead Research and Development Engineer for RIT Baja, where a notable achievement included developing an active vehicle control system to enhance stability and steering dynamics. Additional roles encompassed Lead CVT/Clutch Engineer, CVT Test Engineer, and Team Member during the tenure at RIT Baja, focusing on transmission design and manufacturing. Prior internships include Structures Test Engineering at Relativity Space, ISRU Engineering at Sierra Nevada Corporation, Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Robotics, and various positions at Divergent 3D and Volvo Trucks. Brendan holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, along with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Vibrations from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
