David Yoon is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in valve and propulsion component engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Components Engineer at Relativity Space since October 2021, David leads a team responsible for all valves and ancillary components on the Terran 1 rocket. Previous roles include Lead Components Engineer for the Terran 1 at Relativity Space and Propulsion Components Engineer II at Maxar Technologies. David's background also includes positions at Astra as a Propulsion Engineer, Aerojet Rocketdyne as a Test Engineer II and Design Engineer II, and Rocket Lab USA as a Payloads Structure and Mechanisms Engineer. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Minor from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
