Isabel Sheff is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems and engine testing. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Engine Systems & Test at Relativity Space since March 2021, Isabel leads a team of approximately 20 engineers focused on developing engines for the Terran 1 and R launch vehicles. Previous roles at Relativity Space include Manager of Engine Systems & Test and Lead Propulsion Engineer, where Isabel played crucial roles in team hiring, engine development, and testing. Prior to this, Isabel worked at Virgin Orbit from July 2018 to February 2021, initially as a Stage 1 Propulsion Product Integrity Engineer and later as a Propulsion Development Engineer, contributing to the LauncherOne project. Isabel also has valuable internship experience from NASA Langley Research Center, Virgin Orbit, and various academic and leadership roles during studies at Princeton University, where Isabel earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
