Jay Welch

Jay Welch is a Senior Launch Engineer at Relativity Space, based in Cape Canaveral, Florida, where they manage critical aspects of launch operations. Previously, they held various engineering roles at Blue Origin, including Aerospace Engineer III and Structures Engineer, contributing to the New Shepard and New Glenn programs. Jay's journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, where they honed their skills in prototyping and engineering design. They also founded a company, American Classic Adventures, to provide unique road trip experiences across the American Southwest.
