John Shaw

John Shaw is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in fluid dynamics, recovery systems, and reactor operations. Currently serving as a Staff Test Fluids Engineer at Relativity Space since August 2020, John has held various engineering roles, including Manager of Factory Test Systems and Lead Test Systems Engineer. John previously worked at Carbon Lighthouse as a Senior Data Acquisition Engineer and at SpaceX as a Lead Recovery Engineer. Military service includes roles in the US Navy and US Navy Reserve, where John demonstrated leadership and technical expertise. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and Texas A&M University, respectively.
