Josh Nishida

Josh Nishida is an experienced Avionics Test Engineer currently at Relativity Space since July 2021, with prior roles as Avionics Test Specialist and Test Technician II. Previously, Josh worked at NTS - National Technical Systems from December 2020 to July 2021 as a Dynamics Test Technician II, where responsibilities included conducting vibration tests on spaceflight hardware in a Class 100K clean room. Prior to that, Josh served as a server at Nobu Restaurants from September 2013 to March 2020, providing fine-dining experiences while managing customer needs during busy periods. Additionally, Josh completed an internship as a Test Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2017, focusing on testing apparatus design for telescopes. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Southern California, earned between 2018 and 2020, along with earlier studies at Los Angeles City College.
