Kavya Saravanan

Kavya Saravanan is an Avionics System Engineer I at Relativity Space, focusing on the development and certification of the Terran R’s Autonomous Flight Safety System since August 2024. With prior experience as an avionics intern at Relativity Space and a varied background in aerospace engineering, Kavya held grading positions at Michigan Aerospace for courses in aerospace engineering and propulsion while co-founding and leading the Michigan Sustainability Applications for Aerospace Vehicle Engineering, aimed at developing humanitarian drones. Additional internships include roles at Gulfstream Aerospace and Rolls-Royce, contributing to flight control testing and engine assembly, respectively. Kavya holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, complemented by leadership roles in various organizations promoting STEM.
