Paul Rishel

Paul Rishel is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in mission management and engineering. Currently serving as a Sr Mission Manager at Relativity Space since March 2021, Paul manages launch service technical programs and acts as the primary contact for customers from launch contract signature to spacecraft delivery. Prior to this role, Paul worked for the United States Air Force from May 2013 to March 2021, where responsibilities included leading integration, testing, and evaluation for advanced space-based missile warning and communications systems, as well as overseeing a mission integration team for SpaceX GPSIII satellite missions. Additional experience includes evaluating flight worthiness for SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets and conducting research for Raytheon Missiles & Defense. Paul holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
