Ryan Martz

Ryan Martz is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in propulsion and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Staff Propulsion Engineer at Relativity Space since March 2022, Ryan focuses on the design, analysis, and development of high-pressure cryogenic valves and propulsion components. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Mechanical Engineer at EYE HORTILUX, where Ryan worked on the design of high-power LED horticulture luminaires and passive heatsink technology, and Mechanical Engineer II at ZIN Technologies, Inc. Additionally, Ryan held positions at SpaceX as Structures Engineer II and Mechanical Design Engineer, and at BWX Technologies, Inc. as Test Engineer, specializing in the design of mechanical assemblies for nuclear power generation components. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
