Sam Butler is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in tooling and automation. Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Tooling Engineer at Relativity Space since July 2023, Sam previously held positions as Staff Tooling Engineer at the same company. Prior to joining Relativity Space, Sam worked at Amazon as a Senior Tooling Engineer and Automation and Tooling Engineer from May 2021 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes a role as Mechanical Engineer at Electroimpact from June 2013 to April 2021 and an internship in Cab Structures at Kenworth Truck Co. in 2012. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
