Samuel Tonneslan is the Lead Materials Engineer at Relativity Space. Samuel has also worked as a Materials Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia.
Tonneslan’s core competencies include electron microscopy, materials characterization, and precision machining. At LLNL, they were a member of the Materials Characterization and NIF Target Fabrication Groups where they used lab tools and techniques to paint big pictures of the smallest details. Samuel also worked closely with Staff Scientists and Senior Engineers to hone in on the most powerful information in order to turn research ventures into success stories.
