Shray Patel

Shray Patel is a proficient Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer II at Relativity Space, overseeing the manufacturing development of valves for the Terran-R launch vehicle and Aeon-R engine. With prior experience as an Electric Propulsion Engineering Intern at SpaceX, Shray enhanced subassembly processes for Hall-Effect Thrusters. Shray has also served as Propulsion Engineering Lead for the UCI Rocket Project, directing the design and testing of a bi-propellant rocket engine. Other roles include internships focused on spacecraft operations, systems engineering, and research in propulsion technologies across various organizations, complemented by a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine.
