Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson currently serves as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer at Relativity Space since July 2024. Previously, Tyler held the position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Anduril Industries and briefly worked as a Mission Manager at Parsons Corporation. At Virgin Orbit, Tyler excelled as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, overseeing a team to enhance vehicle assembly and testing processes, and also contributed as an Integration and Test Engineer for payloads. Tyler's earlier experience includes a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where technical program leadership encompassed multimillion-dollar projects, and a Mission Assurance Engineer role focusing on precision composite structures. Initial career contributions were made at L-3 as a Software/Systems Engineer and at Omnitracs as a Release Engineer. Tyler earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2014.
