Walter Banos

Walter Banos is a skilled welder specializing in TIG welding with a diverse background in the aerospace and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as a Weld Specialist II at Relativity Space since December 2022, Walter is involved in building the TERRAN R rocket, contributing to the mission of making humanity a multi-planetary civilization. Previous experience includes roles at ABL Space Systems, RSA Engineered Products, Meggitt, and Weldlogic Inc., where Walter developed leadership and communication skills while consistently overcoming challenges in welding tasks. Walter holds an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ECPI University and an AWS D17.1 Certification in TIG Welding from Simi Valley Adult School.
