Sushanth Chutke

Sushanth Chutke has a diverse range of work experience. Sushanth began their career as a Sales Associate at VMG, where they successfully sold Rogers home device plans and increased company sales by 25%. Sushanth was recognized as one of the top sales associates during their time there. Sushanth then took on the role of Frosh Leader at the University of Toronto Mississauga Students Union, where they assisted in setting up the university's biggest event and managed a group of 60 first years. Sushanth later joined the Hindu Student Council as an Event Coordinator, where they hosted the largest multicultural events on campus and introduced new events that increased revenues and attracted students from different cultures.

In 2020, Sushanth worked as an intern at Global Business Inroads, where they conducted research on waste management strategies and implemented these strategies into working models for future projects. Sushanth also introduced a different approach to improve the company's long-term sustainable and waste management strategies in India. During the same year, they also served as the Outreach Director at the Hindu Student Council, where they communicated with various stakeholders and used creative ways to engage with people and promote social events, all while bringing in a high number of attendees despite the pandemic.

In 2019, Sushanth joined Starbucks as a Barista, where they promoted coffee consumption through customer education and improved efficiency of orders and sales by fostering a culture of open communication and inclusivity. Sushanth remained with Starbucks until 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Sushanth worked at Deliverect as a Business Development Representative. In this role, they spearheaded client onboarding to increase product adoption and decrease lead set-up time. Sushanth surpassed weekly goals by implementing a thorough prospect reach out process and scheduled demos with key accounts and prospects to streamline customer operations. Sushanth also carried out day-to-day functions like cold calling, emailing, and meeting with prospects, consistently surpassing KPIs and being one of the top performers on the team.

Currently, Sushanth is working as a Business Development Representative at Relay.

Sushanth Chutke completed their Bachelor of Arts in environmental management, sustainability, and environmental law from the University of Toronto Mississauga, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Indus International School in Hyderabad, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program from 2015 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Sushanth obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from Green Business Certification, Inc. in June 2021. Sushanth also acquired certifications in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in January 2023, Green Building Concepts Foundations, Learning Design for Sustainability, and Managing Stress from LinkedIn in June 2020 and May 2020 respectively.
