Marcel Kinard

Marcel Kinard has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. Marcel started their career at IBM in 1991 as a Software Engineer. In 2015, they joined Republic Wireless as a Software Engineer, working on the Relay device application and frameworks, and the Android app for their IP-centric calling/messaging mobile phone service. In 2021, the mobile phone service was sold to Dish Networks and they rolled on to the Relay product full time, with the company name changing to "Relay, Inc". At Relay, they work on the on-device software stack, with a focus on network connectivity and user experience.

Marcel Kinard attended the University of Utah from 1985 to 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
