Director Customer Support at Relay

Tom Cunningham has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1995, beginning their career in the US Army as a Satellite Communications Systems Operator. In 1999, they joined Aerotek as a Logical Provisioner and then Verizon Business as an Advanced Telecom Tech. In 2012, they joined Republic Wireless as a Technical Assistance Engineer, then moved up to Technical Assistance Team Lead, Senior Manager, Assisted Support, and finally Director Customer Support. In 2021, they joined Relay as Director Customer Support. During their time at Republic Wireless, they reviewed monthly and quarterly feedback, maintained a high level of employee morale, and ensured tickets were being worked within assigned Service Level Agreements. At Verizon Business, they were the Team Lead for the Data Test and Activations group and was responsible for supervising in-house and offshore technicians. At Aerotek, they were responsible for Frame Relay database cleanup, provisioning and troubleshooting circuits and switches, and validating circuit and PVC orders.

Tom Cunningham obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in University Transfer from Durham Technical Community College between 2005 and 2007. Tom also has two certifications from The SIP School: SSCA SIP training, obtained in January 2013, and Networking 4 Voice and Video over IP, obtained in December 2012.
