Senior Applications Engineer at Relectrify

Daniel C. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel started their career as a Summer Vacation Student at the Defence Science and Technology Organisation in 2013, where they gained experience in electronic hardware design.

In 2014, Daniel joined RMIT Electric Racing and took on the role of Low Voltage & Battery Charger Lead for an electric racing vehicle. Daniel was responsible for ensuring the vehicle's safety and reliability by developing a low voltage control system. Daniel also served as the Electrical System Officer, verifying the vehicle's electrical design compliance with strict regulations and creating safety assessments.

Moving on, Daniel worked as a Graduate Combat Systems Engineer at BAE Systems from 2015 to 2016. Daniel was part of the communications team for the Landing Helicopter Dock project, conducting formal acceptance testing and generating engineering change proposals for communications systems.

From 2016 to 2017, Daniel served as a Hardware Design Engineer at Continental, where they combined hardware design and systems engineering for instrument cluster projects. Daniel conducted electrical testing and resolved issues during testing.

In 2017, Daniel joined ATOMOS as a Hardware Engineer, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge products for the video production industry. Daniel'sresponsibilities included battery and charger verification, as well as developing a Built-In Self Test procedure for manufacturing facilities.

Currently, Daniel holds the role of Senior Applications Engineer at Relectrify since July 2022. Daniel is involved in system validation and customer engineering, performing tests to ensure functional and compliance standards for advanced battery management systems. Daniel has also made significant improvements to hardware, software, and web-portal through collaboration with the software and hardware teams.

Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated skills in hardware design and testing, system validation, compliance testing, and project management.

Daniel C. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from RMIT University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
