Brian Elrod

Brian Elrod has over 20 years of experience in information security, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. There, Brian Elrod oversees all aspects of information security strategy, architecture, policies, and operations. Prior roles at St. Jude include Chief Information Security Officer, Director of Network & Telecom, and various other positions focused on network security and information security management. Brian Elrod has led initiatives in cybersecurity, risk compliance, and disaster recovery, and has established an Information Security Council, enhancing the organization's security framework. Additionally, Brian Elrod contributes as an E3 Board Member at ReliaQuest, collaborating with industry leaders to address security challenges. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Business Administration, both in Management Information Systems from The University of Memphis, with a 4.0 GPA in the master's program.
