Dirk Stephens

Dirk Stephens has a diverse work history. Dirk started their career in 2015 as a Consultant Agent for Geek Squad and later became an Advanced Repair Agent. In 2020, they joined Emerson as an IT Project Coordinator before transitioning to ReliaQuest in 2021. At ReliaQuest, Dirk held the role of Security Engineer before being promoted to Principal Security Engineer in July 2023.

Dirk Stephens obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Management & Information Systems from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Illinois Central College from 2016 to 2017, majoring in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. In addition to their formal education, Dirk has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2023, Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect from Splunk in May 2022, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin from Splunk in January 2022, Splunk Core Certified Power User from Splunk in July 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2021, Splunk Core Certified User from Splunk in April 2021, CompTIA Network+ ce Certification from CompTIA in March 2021, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in January 2020.
