John Burger is currently the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Infrastructure at ReliaQuest, overseeing the company's IT infrastructure and security since May 2017. Previously, John held the position of Vice President of Threat Management at ReliaQuest, where responsibilities included managing threat intelligence and red teaming efforts. John has also served as President of Cyber Security Insights and led the Joint Cyber Center at United States Central Command from August 2011 to July 2014, advising the Commander on cyberspace operations and managing a diverse staff. Earlier roles include Chief of the Cyber Security Division, where John established cyber defense policies and managed network defense operations. John's educational background includes an M.B.A. in Information Technology from the UMN Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Notably, John contributed to the first 4-star combatant command headquarters achieving an outstanding score on the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection.
