Lora Sparkman

Lora Sparkman, RN, BSN, MHA, currently serves as a Patient Safety & Quality Executive and Clinical Effectiveness Consultant at Relias, where employment has continued since January 2017. Prior to this role, Lora held the position of VP, Clinical Effectiveness at Advanced Practice Strategies from January 2014 to December 2016, focusing on optimizing healthcare outcomes through the implementation of the GNOSIS product. Experience in leadership roles includes serving as Director of Clinical Excellence at Ascension Health from March 2005 to January 2014, managing projects aimed at enhancing patient safety and care transformation. Earlier work as a consultant involved revenue cycle improvement and clinical quality initiatives at Health Evolutions and Partners First/Ascension Health, as well as managing utilization and case management at Humana and Group Health Plan. Lora's academic qualifications include a Master of Health Administration from Lindenwood University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and a diploma in nursing from Barnes Hospital School of Nursing.
