Serdar Akin

Serdar Akin is an accomplished product management professional with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as a CPO Advisory Board Member at Products That Count since January 2025, Akin contributes to the advancement of a global community of Chief Product Officers. Akin's tenure as Chief Product Officer at OLX involved leading product innovation and managing a 200-member global organization. Previous roles include Senior Product Director at Booking.com, where Akin supervised approximately 30 cross-functional teams, and Vice President of Product Management and Development at Glooko, focusing on diabetes management platforms. Akin also held significant positions at Symantec and Intuit, where responsibilities spanned managing diverse product portfolios and directing product strategies. Akin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University and an MBA from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
