Benoit Lacroix is the Chief Executive Officer of Relion, whose Reliability-as-a-Service optimizes uptime for EV charging infrastructure. They previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Astus Inc. from 2021 to 2023 and chaired the Board of Propulsion Québec from 2022 to 2023. From 2006 to 2021, they co-founded Effenco and held roles including Vice-President Sales and Marketing and Co-founder & Vice-President Business Intelligence, overseeing fundraising and data valorisation. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure. They are pursuing a Professional Certificate in Data Science at the University of Waterloo and were Entrepreneur in Residence at Propolys, Polytechnique Montréal (2021–2022) and at La base entrepreneuriale HEC Montréal in 2024.
