Sam Tsang

Sam Tsang has over 5 years of work experience in the capital markets and technology industry. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Associate at China Renaissance 华点资本, where they completed 15+ capital market transactions with a total transaction value of $15Bn+. Selected transactions included a $4.5Bn private financing of Grab (NASDAQ:GRAB) and a $4.2Bn HK IPO of Meituan Dianping (SEHK:3690).

In 2019, they joined RELX Technology as the Head of Capital Markets. During their tenure, they built and led capital markets, investor relations, value chain investments and ESG teams for the franchise. Sam also raised $2Bn+ and scaled the valuation from $3Bn (Series C) to $19Bn (IPO) in 2 years. Sam led and managed the $1.6Bn IPO of RLX Technology Inc. (NYSE:RLX) (Jan 2021), corporate restructuring, $420mm Series D private financing (Sept 2020), Series C+ private financing (Jan 2020), and multiple corporate investments.

Sam Tsang attended the HKUST Business School from 2012 to 2016 where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance.
