David Tempest

David Tempest serves as the Head of Learning & Operations and Head of Strategic Talent Projects at RELX since July 2020, focusing on talent management, career development, and performance management. Prior to this role, David held several key positions at Elsevier Ltd, including Senior Lead in Culture, Employee Experience & Organisational Insights, Director of Employee Engagement, and Director of Access Training & Development. In these roles, David managed various strategic initiatives, including the development of a global open access training program and projects supporting sustainable access strategies. David holds an M.B.A. from Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Sunderland.
