Hugo Zhang

Hugo Zhang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs and business development. Currently serving as the Head of Government Affairs for RELX Group since September 2012, Hugo has a strong background in the publishing and science and technology sectors. Prior positions include Managing Director and Director of Business Development and Marketing at Elsevier China from March 2007 to July 2012, as well as Deputy Director of Book Publishing Program and Policy and Director of the General Office at the Department of Publicity of the China Central Government from January 2003 to February 2006. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Literature and History from Lanzhou University, earned from 1990 to 1994.
