Jeffrey Shaffer

Jeffrey Shaffer is an experienced government affairs professional currently serving as the Government Affairs Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region at RELX since November 2021. Previously, from June 2017 to October 2021, Jeffrey held the position of Specialist in State Regulation and Legislation at AICPA, managing a 12-state portfolio and drafting legislative changes to enhance license mobility. Jeffrey's earlier roles include Director of the Fellows Program at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, where oversight of a program for college students took place, and a Political Associate at The Angerholzer Team Fundraising & Strategy, where administrative support was provided after an initial internship. Earlier experience also includes an internship in the Congressional Office of Representative Larry Kissell, focusing on legislative memos and constituent communication. Jeffrey holds a BA in Political Science and History from James Madison University, earned in 2011.
