Joanne Dingwall

Joanne Dingwall (MCIPD) is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of HR Policy at RELX since August 2022, where responsibilities include managing the harmonisation and simplification of HR policies across multiple business areas in the UK. Joanne is also a member of the Leadership Team at the Scottish HR Freelancers Network since March 2020 and has previously owned ExtraHR Solutions Ltd, providing bespoke HR consultancy primarily to SMEs in the finance and professional services sectors from February 2018 to October 2024. Prior to these roles, Joanne worked as a Human Resources Consultant at abrdn, managing business change programmes, and held various positions at Lloyds Banking Group, including People Policy Manager and International ER Manager, focusing on policy development, stakeholder management, and international HR support. Joanne began her career as an HR Generalist at Bank of Bermuda and holds a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources as well as a Master's degree in Performance Management.
