Tom Toirac

Tom Toirac has extensive experience in IT and data center operations, currently serving as a Consulting Capacity Management Engineer at Reed Elsevier Technology Services since March 2009. In this role, Tom oversees the work request process, coordinates enterprise single points of failure, and tracks decommission and asset retirement activities while providing chargeback data for mainframe and servers. Previously, Tom held the position of Director, Global Data Center Support, managing a team responsible for 24/7 global support on UNIX, Linux, and zOS platforms. Prior to joining Reed Elsevier, Tom worked at LexisNexis from 1995 to March 2009, where responsibilities included managing second-level support for production online systems and leading the support of development tools. Tom also has experience as a Dir of Computing Services at North American Van Lines from 1984 to 1990. Tom's educational background includes studies at Grace Bible College.
