Vinaya Kumar

Vinaya Kumar is an accomplished finance professional with over 22 years of experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Finance at RELX since September 2020, Vinaya leads the finance function and collaborates with leadership teams across India and Asia on product strategies and implementations, while also managing ethics, internal compliance, governance, and risk management as a Board Member. Prior to this, Vinaya was Deputy General Manager at NEC Technologies India Pvt Ltd, overseeing finance and accounting teams across multiple locations, and held key finance roles at Freescale Semiconductor, Relsys India, and EXL Service, contributing to the establishment of finance functions, managing audits, and leading budgeting processes. Vinaya holds a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Lucknow.
