Walton Schmidt

Walton Schmidt is an experienced engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University. Currently, Walton serves as an Equipment Engineer and Process Engineer at REM Surface Engineering since June 2021, following a role as a Research Intern. Prior experience includes positions as a Field and Lab Technician at Amaracon Testing & Inspections, where design specifications for large-scale projects were ensured through collaboration and testing. Walton also has a background in sports officiating, having served as a Youth Soccer Referee for the Long Island Junior Soccer League and an Intramural Referee at Hofstra University, emphasizing fair play and sportsmanship.
