Crispina Ffrench

Crispina ffrench is a seasoned textile upcycling professional with extensive experience in various roles related to sustainable practices and design. As the founder and textile alchemist of CRISPINA Design Workshop since 1987, Crispina has dedicated efforts to promote environmental stewardship through innovative products. Currently, Crispina hosts the Rags to Riches Textile Upcycling Podcast and serves as an ambassador for remake.world, both positions held since July 2022 and August 2018, respectively. Collaboration with The Dolphin Studio as a sister and design partner has been ongoing since January 2010. Crispina is also recognized as the author of The Sweater Chop-Shop, published by Storey Publishing from 2008 to 2009. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Fine Art/Fibers from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, completed between 1983 and 1988.
