Paul Cooper

Paul Cooper is the Professional Head of Occupational Therapy at The OT Practice, where responsibilities include overseeing clinical quality and governance, implementing audit procedures, and addressing therapist performance issues through learning and development. Additionally, Paul serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for REMAP and previously held several key positions at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, including Lead Professional Adviser, focusing on membership engagement and national influencing across various practice areas. Earlier experience includes roles at NICE, Surrey County Council, and multiple NHS trusts, with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation and social care. Paul holds a PG Dip in Occupational Therapy from London South Bank University and a BA (Hons) in Media and Visual Culture from the University of Wales, Newport.
