John Pare is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the railway industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Occupational Health & Safety at REMCAN Projects LP since March 2013. In this role, John oversees safety and compliance across Canada while ensuring employee education and fair treatment. Previously, John held various leadership positions at REMCAN, focusing on safety and human resources, as well as managing industrial relations for multiple railway construction projects. Prior to joining REMCAN, John worked at Canadian Pacific Railway from January 2000 to March 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing network operations and field operations across eastern and western Canada. John's career has been marked by a commitment to safety as a fundamental aspect of railway operations.
